"Two are better than one for they have a good return for their work..." Ecc. 4

Here's the picture I promised you! Hello got it's act together today and I decided to go post happy! This is K & I at our 2002 Christmas dance doing "The Pastor Paul groove". Legend has it that "The Pastor Paul Groove" is an imitation of our youth pastor, Pastor Paul, grooving down the streets of our home town in his Blue Ford Escort with the sun roof down, leaning back, and stroking his receeding hair as the wind blows through it. It's a tradition move Krista and I did at all of our formal dances. Happy Birthday Krista! Posted by Hello

Best Part Of Waking Up Is A Survey In Your Cup!

Goodmorning! I had a great night of sleep, made a few mistakes but I'll try to do better tomorrow night (har har) and I also recieved my bibliography back in class (that I thought I totally bombed) and everything appears to be correct! Hoo roo! So to start my morning I've decided to follow Sharon's lead and also take the survey. Enjoy!

What is the geekiest part of your music collection? Probably my oldies that none of my friends know. I'ma cultured kid...if the culture goes back some 20 or 30 years.

What is your secret guaranteed weeping movie? Pay It Forward. It's a terribly sad movie that is unbearable for just about anyone, but a good movie.

If you could have plastic surgery, what would you have done? The only thing I would want fixed it dental and that dog gone gap. I can only hope someday that it could be corrected to my liking.

Do you have a completely irrational fear? I used to have this crazy fear at night that someone was going to tap on my window and appear there...because that actually did happen once! I was in the 9th grade, something like that, and my friend was going to pick me up for a trip the band was taking to Washington D.C. Silly me was in such a sleep coma that i hit the alarm without even knowing it. The next thing I remember is awakening to the knocking above my window by my friend, waking up and seeing her headlights in the yard, figuring it all out, and freaking. I was paranoid about people tapping on my windows, but it was such a joke and everyone started doing it, so I kind of grew out of it.

Do you know anyone famous? I've seen famous people like Kiss, former football players, and Mr. Rodgers, even had my picture with old Fred, but as far as knowing anyone, I don't think so. I consider the great people in my life famous!

Who would play you in a movie? I always loved Ariel in the Litter Mermaid or Sabrina (the one with Harrison Ford, not the kiddy one where the teenage is a witch).

What do you carry with you at all times? My I.D., Debit Card, Driver's License, and my room key. Heaven knows how many times I've misplaced all those item. (Usually the cards stay in play pretty well since I have a pocket thing for them, but still.

What do you miss most about being a kid? The simpleness of life, and yummy breakfasts.

What colour is your bedroom? Pink and white (But green would be cool, haha)

What was the last song you were listening to? Vince Gill

Have you ever been in a play? Yes, childhood ones like a production of the "Cat in the Hat" when I was a child and countless dramas for the youth group and, so far, one drama for the Gathering up here at school.

Have you ever been in love?Tee hee!

Do transient, homeless, or starving people sometimes annoy you? Umm, no.I probably annoy them, like most people do. That's why I love doing events like the 30 Hour Famine and sponsoring kids through my old youth group.

What is your ideal marriage location? Probably the good old church, if not a church, outdoors or on the beach!

Which musical instrument do you wish you could play? The Piano, I played other instruments like the Trumpet and Trombone, and a touch of the Baritone.

Favorite fabric? Like Sharon said, whatever is soft!

What's the one language you want to learn? Spanish, I already know some French from high school.

How do you eat an apple? I pick it up, open my jaw, put the apple in a desirable loaction, munch down, chew, and swallow.

What do you order at a bar? Probably Chicken of some kind, haha. And a good glass of vodka, a mean water, ha ha

Have you ever pierced your body parts? My ears- twice. And I still down have pierced ears...

Do you have tattoos? Nope

Do you drive a stick? Eh, not really. I do want to learn though. My friend M up here has a stick and is going to take me out for a lesson in Spring. So just in case my pregant cousin needs a trip to the hosptial, I am capable to help (or get groceries for her, lol)

Favorite trait of the opposite sex? Kindess is one...there are many.

What kind of watch do you wear? A charm bracelet watch I got from Wuvor's mother. I love it because each charm has a story of it's own.

Most frivolous purchase? The only thing I can think of right now is the fireman's hat I bought at Wal-Mart.

What are you best at cooking?

Would you ever go out dressed like the opposite sex? I could...but why?

What's one car you will never buy? Probably a Ford, since it's taboo to my father.

What kind of books do you like to read? Stuff that is interesting to me. I am trying to make my way through teh Lord of the Rings Book 2 but I am sidetracked with a book I got this weekend called "A New Way to be Human".

If you won the lottery, what would you do? Skip endlessly. Then pay someone to skip for me, haha.

Do you cry in front of your friends? I have before because I would only do it infront of the friends I love.

What's one thing you like to do alone? Read?

Are you a giver or a taker? Always better to give than to receive.

When's the last time you cried? This weekend. But for someone who cries a lot, our bowling partner Mike cries all the time, but it's his eye that causes it, lol.

How many drinks before you're tipsy? I wouldn't really know

My Outburst

Ok, so I am writing this at 11:03 and I’m bubbling. Yes, bubbling. Why? Beats me, and yes, it sometimes hurts, haha. Today was a “Reading Day”, which translates differently for each college student. Some hear Reading Day and think “Let’s get smashed” but Roomie and I hear Reading Day and hear our beds calling our name and keeping us captive until the late hours of the morning. So I’m awake and bursting with ideas. Here’s a few I have thought up after a night of salad, OC, and pencil nibbling:

· I have the urge to go out and get some new make up, do my hair, and make myself a dish. Why? Maybe I’m being extra girly and those chromosomes decided to throw a Reading Day party.
· If I had the extra will power and eye-power I would play around with my blog because I’m been concocting some ideas lately for it.
· I want to paint my room. My mother is probably going “What?!” as she reads that and then saying “Huh?!” after she sees the part where I want to paint it a green/mint color (the same color we want to paint the bathroom) but I didn’t have a heart or logic to tell her on the ride back. Besides, where am I going to get money to buy paint? I don’t know, but I do know that I have my sketch book open and I have a new room layout with the vision of green walls.
· I created a MySpace in order to increase blog traffic with my friends who I went to high school with.

Ok, so the fact that I have lost my marbles is already decided. Question is…can I find them??? This dorm room is small, it can’t be that hard!

Bowling Quiz

also disappear on weekends. Good thing bowling
is a Wednesday.
You win not first place?

Which member of Team RamRod are you?
brought to you by
Quizilla

Yes, Team RamRod has their own quiz to take. I didn't write the description, Mark and kevin did, so I don't know what the deal is with me "disappearing" on the weekends (probably stuff I do like Cleveland and friends from the PH) and the poor grammar at the end. Haha, kids these days.

Have I lost my marbles? Part 1

I woke up this morning not grungy, mean, and hateful at the world. Why? I'm still trying to figure that out. I think it's the 8 1/2 hours I got last night. (Yes, 8 1/2, I need my eyelid time!) But today is a new day that God has all kinds of things in store. Unfortunately, I feel like I have lost my marbles. You'll see why...

Part 1 of losing my marbles begins with the application for Highland Ambassadors. They are a University organization that does service for the school (serving dinners, handing out bulletins, graduation needs, etc.) and for the community around the school (Edinboro, etc). I first heard of this group from my terrific RA and then from another girl at the Potter's house that I am friends with. (Heck, I'm friends with all those girls).

So I went to the meeting, filled out the application, and today is the day I am turning it in. I have really tossed back and forth whether I can do this kind of thing. It requires a 2.5 QPA (that's fine) and a minimum of 20 service hours per semester, a max of 40 (Eh, I can handle that) and a retreat before school starts (I am woman, hear me roar). But the everyday challenge of fitting everything in seems overwhelming. I experienced this when I joined the graphic design club. They assigned me some meaningless title like "Scrap booker" and I freaked.

"Who me? I have to do this? I have to attend meeting? Take pictures? Spend time of this?"

But then again, it was my first semester here, I was working out the emotional bugs of being away from home, Wuvor, and anything that smelled remotely human. Now I have events like church gatherings and the bowling team keeping me busy while Wuvor works back home close to every day. I am concerned that if I get a job next semester and Highland Ambassadors and the events I already do (like 3 of them), I won't have time to balance it all. But on the upside, Highland Ambassadors is very flexible and there are service events for weekdays and weekends. I get to pick and choose!

So wish me luck as I turn in the application at the big President's office after my meeting with my advisor....

...I'll keep you in suspense and write about that later!

G'Day!

P.S.- Do Sharon and I look alike? I know we act alike in some ways by all the surveys I fill out?

P.S.S.- I finally watched Super Troopers to see where the origin of our bowling team name "RamRod" came from. All I can say is "Wow" and shake my head. I will never look at a police pull over the same again. But seeing some of the people on the team, I feel it's a fitting name :)

The Staples Adventure

Over Christmas break my Roomie can back with something wondrous, something spectacular, and something extremely comfortable. It was an office chair and once I spent a few times sitting in it myself, I knew that I had to put it on my “To Get When I Have Cash Laying Around” list. Unfortunately, that list has taken another pay cut. Ouch. My wallet has gone from NFL to Arena football. It’s been cut. (Even though those guys make boo-koo bucks)

Back to the matter at hand, I occasionally wished upon my stars on my ceiling at night that the tooth fairy or Santa would make an extra trip to deliver an office chair so I would stop the constant butt numbing feeling I get when I sit in my generic plastic posturepedic nightmare chair that came with the room. But instead, Santa, the tooth fairy, who ever, let me have a break and decided to push the dean’s pen and addressing system faster so I could have my Dean’s list letter sent home at the right time.

…needless to say….because of that little Dean’s list letter…I got a present…

Hooroo!

Father and I embarked into Indiana County in search of the proper office chair to aid my suffering back. I was the “Chair-less-ette” and I needed a sitting mate, one with a soft touch, warm comfort, and great support. So I went to Staples.

After searching around, I knew I had found my match. There it was….black fabric, arm rests, a nice bounce back and forth, and wheels to attach. Yet love comes at a cost, and this cost wasn’t ideal for me. But then again, I’m so cheap that the dollar store is the only thing that is ideal. Yet we still asked the Staples fellow to get us the box for the chair we had chosen. Sweet.

The fellow came back to us, saw the chair and told us that the chair was going on sale…tomorrow. Tomorrow? It’s Saturday…darn it, sale starts Sunday. And it just wasn’t a few bucks of, it was forty bucks off.

Again, needless to say…we came back the next day.

Instead of stopping in Indiana, we made our stop at the Butler location store because it’s on the way. I was assigned to call ahead of time and reserve the chair in my name. No sweat. Ma, Pa, and I hopped in the family vehicle and arrived in Butler to receive my little chair of wonder.

When we came in, I asked Customer Service for the chair.

And it begins.

The young guy went into the back room in search of the chair that was I my name. As I pointed out to Ma which chair I had chosen, the young guy, let’s call him Joe, fumbled around in the back looking for a chair in the name of “Lindsey Reedy”. (First mistake….why does everyone assume my name as an “e” instead of an “a”. Curse this English Language.) Soon he came out and told us he couldn’t find it. My mother, being a person who is keen on their customer service tactics, went on her own search for the chair. Get the lantern and the trail mix- she’s on the mission. Dad decided to go his own way and follow her somewhat.

We were lead back to the front of the store where my mother interrogated a cashier about the chair. About that time, she and Pa noticed a pink slip with my name on it. Bingo! After explaining the situation, it was time to check it out.

Dad carries the box to the front, sets it down, and goes over to look at some candy. My mother asks the cashier if the magazine things for Staples are free so that she can have one to look at. I stand there with the chair and shake my head. I need a leash maybe, I don’t know, but it was funny.

Finally I signaled my ADD father back over the check out the chair. I’m surprised he didn’t get the candy he was eying up; a trip to EUP isn’t short nor is it too long. Something tasty on the way would appease the beast that dwells inside of him, controlling his every craving and digestive process that goes on within. In conclusion, my chair was purchases and brought to EUP. Now I sit in comfort and luxury writing and reading the blogs, and of course homework. Who could forget that part?

As I looked at my parents and how funny they are, I sometimes wonder what it will be like to be an adult. Honestly, why do children look up to being a grown up? Sure, you can drive, but find the car and fill it up with gas that it will guzzle down like a bunch of college students binging. Get a house of your own- that you have to pay for, furnish, and maintain. Get all kinds of cool pets- that require food, vet bills, and carpet stain remover. Sometimes people think being a kid is the best part of life, and it’s a grand time, but each part of life is special. You’ll only be a certain age once- enjoy it!

See you all another time!

College Kids Funnin'

This is what we do in college: take generic pledge, spray it on the floors, take girly soft slippers (which are mine) and slide around like the we're the next Sasha Cohens figure skater. This is the new bowling team member M showing off his moves. After he did this he stood up, rubbed his back, and declared he's too old for that kind of stuff. (Of course that doesn't mean he'll stop doing it, haha) Posted by Hello

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Holy crap! Blogger worked for me at EUP? I must have been pleasing to the computer god's this week, haha. Here is M & I after girls night out! She is a fellow Rose Hall dweller, just a floor over and down from me. Posted by Hello

Da Burg

Today was an excited time out of the snowy, frozen tundra of Edinboro but rather in the busy world of Pittsburgh with all the fast-paced traffic glory. But first and foremost, before I begin this post, I must express my utter enthusiasm about my awesome cousin…

SHARON! She came home! (Almost like Lassie or something) I am so thrilled! Let me tell you, I was glued to that old blog these past two days like a chef waiting for the cake to finish baking-(…bad analogy, lol) I just had to see how it would turn out and how my beloved cousin was. Thankfully she is now home with her family and recovering from her rough week. God is awesome. J

Back to the story (went off on a tangent there, haha, but a wonderful tangent!), members from the Potter’s house (K, B, C,) and friends (M & N), and I ventured out of our igloos and down to Carngie Art Museum for the International Art Show that has been showing. It was a pretty interesting time and kind of nice to see the old place that brought back so many memories (art club field trips with H).

At times, I thought about how weird some of the art was. Some of it was just plain, well, weird. But on the other hand, some of it was nice and sometimes make you think. One thing was for sure though- I was spent by the end of the visit. From there we headed over to a restaurant (that I can’t remember the name of) that was tasty and not too expensive ($10.00 meal) but left me broke by the end of the day and wondering if I could get some kind of job shoveling snow back at school for a buck or two. Money gets me worried sometimes to the point where I have to put things in perspective.

The sleepiness definitely wore off after the lemonade and lemon water. On the trip home is was a bouncing time of singing and car dancing. We listened from Maroon 5 to 80’s to oldies. Good times, my friends, good times.

Now I’m back in the Boro and broke like a bum in Brooklyn. Send money to the Lindsay-stay-off-the-streets-fund. Now! Ok, no.

Wow, I’m still very awake. This lack of sleep will hit me sometime! Night!

I love my cousin (and I'm not from West Virgina...but she is!)

I could blog about all kinds of things today, like the boring critque I just got out of or the snow that was dumped overnight, but instead I feel like it's not a time of laughing or celebrating or having any real fun. When I hear the word blog I think of one word: Sharon.

I'm thankful she started a blog because I finally got to meet my awesome cousin Sharon. I got to peek into her life, her mind, and her family by reading her terrific posts, some serious and others humorous. I decided to start my own blog and join the craze. I don't regret it.

Blog after blog, it seemed like I had known Sharon for years. I finally got to meet her for the first time at my grandfather's funeral this past Decemeber. Seeing my "long lost" cousin was the highlight of that crummy week. It was like having an older sister or something. I even want to go visit her this summer just to know her more.

I love you cousin Sharon. My prayers are with her, along with my friends who are also praying over her. All one can do is lean on God.

"Though he fall, he will not be cast down: for the Lord holds him up with his hand." Psalm 37:24

"You are my hiding place; you will preserve me from trouble; you will compass me about with songs of deliverance." Psalm 32:7

A Burger Break-through

It’s not really a lazy week for me, but I feel like it is. All the momentum that was pushing me to exercise left me yesterday and now I am left at a crossroads- fitness or “hoboness”? I didn’t help that in my Health/PE class today that the professor told us it’s not a sin to eat a burger every now and then. Since I have been cautious of my eating, I have avoided all fast food-like products like the plague.

I really used to be picky about what I snacked on when I started running two years ago to the point were I would deprive myself a piece of cake every now and then and go for months without a slice. No sweets, no candy, nothing. I really had something against the American lifestyle to the point where it was kind of restraining and bothersome. Wuvor helped me get out of the pressuring rut by pretty much telling me I was going to eat that piece of cheesecake because it doesn’t matter what I look like to him, sculpted or un-sculpted, he still loves me.

So in result of the PE class, I had a burger today…and boy was it good. Last time I ate out of the grill was early January with a Fish Sandwich, and my first burger was my last, about September or so. I figured it was due for a change and some red meat.

I do watch what I snack on and I actually do read labels (or at least try to). I remember my Aunt M. saying “If it’s partionally hydrogenated, don’t eat it.” Which is very true, partionally hydrogenated foods are transfatty foods, very bad. I’m into my fruits and veggies, by good food and bad. Heart disease is big on both sides of the family, so there really isn’t any wasting time when it comes to exercise and diet.

It’s been a busy lately, so the blogs have been less frequent. Hopefully I can have some time to free up my fingers and type in some good stories.

Happy A Day Late Valentine’s Day!

Snap My Trap

Tonight's end can be summed up with one quote that I once read in my old art teacher's room. It goes something like:

"Dogs have so many friends because they wag their tails instead of their tongues."

*sigh*

GO TEAM RAMROD!

Here are the trophies from the SGA Bowling Tourney Championship that team RamRod recieved last week. Not only was it extremly funny but also embarrassing because everyone was forced to stop bowling to watch the presentation. Haha...people must wonder how we did it...heck, we still wonder... Since my Hello program at school seems to have went on strike, I am using the one at home to post any of the pictures I have taken recently. Here is a photo of Buster, Me, Lindsay 2, and Teddy in Cleveland at Aunt Jesse's house. Lindsay 2, the dog, was named after me, so I share a special bond with the pooch. Posted by Hello

Honestly!

I'm currently filled up and comfy after a tasty meal with Manna eating pasta shells and meatballs with alfredo sauce for dinner. Today was Tuesday, so it was off to the gym to run a mile and work the machines, hopefully that would work my body to be an even hotter Lindsay K.

But as I sit back and look at the day, I am stuck wondering "It's only Tuesday?! Honestly, when will the week end?!" Maybe I've become lackadazial or something, but the week is dragging along.

Plans for Valentine's Day are still on hold. Appears that Wuvor is going to ask his father if he can drive to pick me up from EUP for the V-Day weekend. (Don't ask why he has to have permission, too long of a story). It's bee three weeks since I've seen Wuvor. He works, I school, we talk a little, and the day goes by.

There isn't anything new to report here. I'll let you know when something does, don't worry. As for the reader and their eventful day...have a good one!

The Ohio Weekender

For some excitement and cheering up, I decided to visit my Aunt M. in Cleveland this past weekend. Since Roomie lives 30 mintues away from her, I deicded to hitch a ride to good ol' Ohio and take a mini road trip.

I had a blast, I really did. The last time I was out to visit my Aunt at her apartment was when I was five years old and the trip wasn't that worth remembering. Both my mother, brother, and I were deathly sick while my Dad and other Aunt (at the time...) and Uncle went out to Cedar Point for the day. Fun fun.

This time around was a lot more fun and memorable. I did recognize the apartment and some parts of it like the couch infront of the jungle and and the kitchen on the other side of the wall. But all in all, I really didn't remember a lot because, heck, I was five years old.

We slept in, ate pancakes, and visited my other "aunt" J., who gave me Animal Crackers and pens because she felt she had to give me something. I vagely remember her house, just the basement were the dogs are usually kept, even though they run the house most of the time. J. named one of her dogs after me because when i was born she loved the name and wanted to use it. I finally got to meet "Lindsay 2" (for Lindsay 1 has passed on into doggy heaven). Oddl enough, Aunt J. preceeded to tell me that she later disocvered Lindsay 1's mother was named Cassandra, the same name as my other mother. Weird, I know.

We also went out Sunday morning and met Aunt M.'s good friend and terrific painter Sue. We had a personal tour through her home that she has filled with all kinds of art work. She would ask me from time to time if I were doing all that but I then had to break the news that I wasn't all that great of a painter and wasn't taking those classes at Edinboro. Yet I still loved the art work of beautiful ballerinas and blooming flowers.

I think the trip really cheered my Aunt M. up a lot. Since the funeral, we believe she's been a little depressed and needed a pick-me-up. My mother could tell on the phone that she was excited about my visit and having the company. I play to visit her again sometime in March or April, before school is out. We already have a list of things we'd love to do.

My next big road trip, if I had a choice, would be good old West Virgina. My mother and I have talked about how we would love to visit Sharon and spend more time with her. I only got to speak with her briefly between all the chaos and madness going on at the house and funeral home over Christmas Break.

Good morning and G'day!

Leave Me Alone

Today is one of those days when I woke up angry, grumpy, and mad. My friends in high school knew this illness well, so they just left me alone until 3rd period, about the time I woke up.

This morning I was mad at everything. Mad at the lights falling down, the temperature outside (which really isn't all that bad), the idea of having an 8:00 class, the idea of having a 9:00 class right after, and so on. I usually keep it to myself because after years of dealinh with this problem, I hold my breath and know that in a few hours everything will be ok.

My mother isn't a morning person. My grandmother isn't a morning person. And neither am I. If Sharon and I lack one thing in similarities, it's the early bird in her that rises at 3,4, or 5AM and the late rising bear, me, that gets out of bed comfortably, around 10:00.

I usually take on a good 8-9 hours of sleep. Yes, that many. If it's 7 or less, forget it. I just won't function properly. This past week I got 10 hours of sleep in one night. It was great. Went to bed at midnight and woke up very late in the morning. Ahh, l'amour. I figure my problem is that I got 7 hours last night and maybe 8 the night before. Instead of hitting the gym, like I planned last night when I feel like I could stay awake for another 3 hours, I might go back to bed for some extra Zzz's. Queen of nap, my roommate, already has made an appointment.

Good Morning and have a great day!

Quizzie-poo from Me to You

Ok, so I've stolen another one of Sharon's ideas. Maybe we are sister...maybe there is some weird alien cult that abducted some parts of random families and made sisters and then placed them back on earth to see if we could figure it out. Or maybe the fact that we're family and that kind of thing just happens. Whatever the case may be, here's the quiz/poll/survey. Enjoy and warning- contents may be hot.

1. What time do you get up: Depends what day it is, Mon/Wed/Fri- 7:20; Tue/Thurs- 8:50
2. If you could eat lunch with one person, who would it be? John! It's been like two weeks!
3. Gold or silver? Gold
4. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? Shall We Dance
5. What is/are your favorite TV show(s)? I don't watch that much TV because I never really have time and Roomie and I are too cheap to pay for the $153.00 cable service per semester. But I do enjoy the OC, Roomie got me hooked.
6. What did you have for breakfast? A breakfast bar and juice.
7. Who would you hate to be stuck in a room with? One kid I had a lot of classes with last semester, honestly, this kid bugs me. Makes me question about the admissions at this school.
8. What inspires you? The Bible, my friends, and several books
9. What is your middle name? Kate
10. Beach, City or Country? Beach or Country, I can't decide between the two. (I fell in love with the beach last summer.)

14. Favorite color? I don't have one, but I like red, orange, and pink a lot
15. What kind of car do you drive? I don't really have a car, but the one at home I drive around is a 1987 Chevy Celebrity
16. Favorite sandwich? Anything right now, I am hungry, haha (I eat about anything)
17. What characteristic do you despise? I don't know, there is a crap-load of them...I can't pinpoint just one.
18. Favorite flower? The blooming ones.
19. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation where would it be? Florida (again.)
20. Favorite brand of clothing? Anything cheap, lol
21. Where would you like to retire to? Florida or the mountians
22. Favorite day of the week? Fridays
23. What did you do for your last birthday? Umm...ate cake, had dinner with John, went to class...can't excatly remember.
24. Where were you born? Kittanning, Pennsylvania
25. Favorite sport to watch? Ice skating, tennis
26. What fabric detergent do you use? Tide

Ok, after reading all of Sharon's responses and mine, I'm offically freaked out. I wonder if I could make contact with those aliens again sometime. Play a game of shuffleboard with them, treat them out to dinner, heck, watch some television with them. (But I bet they get more channels that I do.)

Surprise!

I recieved another yellow slip in the mailbox Monday night. I automatically assumed that it was more junk mail from a mysterious design company that wanted me to hire them for my business. But since I love mail and the whole idea of getting something that we too big for my mailbox, I got it right away on my way to dinner.

It was a book.

I ordered this book the first week of school for my Intercultral Communications class. The class has options for which book their read, about six different opinions to choose from. I chose the book "In Silence- Growing Up Hearing in a Deaf World" because I had read a lot of works about Hellen Keller in the past and loved writing reports on her. But as time went on, it appeared that the book wouldn't come in time for me to do the report on because I failed to hurry the book's shipping since I had to buy it on tnhe net. After I recieved all my other books I ordered off of Amazon.com, I started to lose hope. I wouldn't get the book in time.

My book came Monday night. The book is due Thursday morning. Get reading.

How I've been reading like a madman and trying to spend any extra time to dive into the book. So this is why i haven't blogged in awhile....I've been behind pages.

Hope everyone is have a great day. Toodles!
